Armed robber hits Check N Go on Hopyard

A man with a gun held up the Check N Go store at 2755 of Hopyard Road yesterday afternoon and took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

Wow my comment was deleted?!?! I basically stated that these paycheck advance place charge usurious rates, and someone found offense with that. I guess Banksters really do control us after all.

Hispanic????!! A little more description would be nice... Has politically correctness gotten to the point that criminals are going to get away because the witnesses are afraid to state the race of the perp?? Is he mexican, spanish ( as in Spain), portugese, Brazilian?!

What is happening to Pleasanton? When did Pleasanton get a check cashing facility? Sounds like p-town is going ghetto! The old timers of Pleasanton need to take back their community and throw the trash out.

@ confused: I don't think it's an issue with PC, but rather the average person not being able to identify someone like that. I can imagine a scene playing out now...

-suspect flees-

Person A: He was hispanic
Person B: Excuse me, come out from under your rock, that person was clearly Puerto Rican
Person C: I think he was Chilean.

...Hispanic..It's an encompassing term.
