Foothill Road Car Accident Sat. 8/8/09, 9:45 PM

Original post made by Concerned Citizen, Foothill High School, on Aug 10, 2009

On Saturday evening we were watching a movie with our door open and heard screeching tires and then a crash! Been checking the newspaper for reports and have not seen anything. Called PPD and was told the accident involved two cars on Foothill and Golden Eagle Way.

I was told the accident happened when a driver swerved to avoid a deer.

Anyone know anything else?

what else is there to know exactly? Sounds like the police already told you a lot. Thankfully, every minor car accident without major injuries is not enough to report here.

Obviously sounds like street racing to me. Let's see... two cars involved, with one crashing into a tree on a pitch black curvy road. A deer may have jumped out, but how could two cars be involved with only one of them crashing?

Oops, Sorry, my mistake. The police said there were two cars involved but a passerby said the accident happened when the driver tried to avoid a deer. Just trying to get clarification. Police report wasn't completed when I called. Thought I might get more details this way, obviously not.
