Out of Control Right-Wing Hate

Original post made by Francis, Vineyard Hills, on Jun 17, 2009

Here is a good article about the danger of right-wing extremism and terrorism. Although this is a national issue, it is something that also faces Pleasanton (as evidence by many of the hateful postings on Town Square Forum). Please enjoy Web Link

"Today, as in the early years of the Clinton administration but to an even greater extent, right-wing extremism is being systematically fed by the conservative media and political establishment."

Fear not, for as usual, it is merely the minority attempting to speak out and the majority will surely tamp it down, oppress it back into submission. Hmmm, you left wingers sure do fret a lot.

After seeing all the anti-Obama right-wing nutjob posts on the Pleasanton Weekly, you have to wonder if one of these losers will do something crazy. It scares me to know these types live in this town.

Karen, were the Obama nutjobs any worse than the Bush nutjobs of the past? I find all of the nutjobs fairly out of line. Particularly the ones with blinders on.

Don't forget "groups" like International Answer. I saw plenty of hate from that group. They led marches in San Francisco, D.C. and many other cities over the past 5 years. Pleasanton families marched in these protests. Lots of venom, lots of hate on the left.

I find it funny that people are still playing this blame game with politics. Both parties are to blame and not one single group is responsible for the state of our nation. While I'm registered as a Democrat, I do believe there have been illogical moves that this party has done. Same thing with Republicans. The above posts states "...left wingers should do fret a lot" but so do the Republicans, or conservatives. Bush had his days and now it's Obama's turn- there's never going to be solid agreements but we can at least not sit here and attack each other.

PTown94566 - actually I was being sarcastic and trying to make exactly your point. Each party or side thinks the other is out of control and over reacts. It goes on and on, back and forth. The blinders keep each side from seeing this all too obvious fact.
