Now I'm convinced! Pleasanton District IS EVIL!

Original post made by concerned, another community, on May 3, 2009

Look at how many other areas they've destroyed too!

Manteca - $23.5 million in the red

Modesto - $11.3 million in the red

San Jose - $2.8 million in the red

Tracy - $14 million in the red

Oakland - $28 million in the red

Stockton - $45 million in the red

Newark - $4.5 - $6 million in the red

Walnut Creek - $2.3 million in the red

Turlock - $3.3 million in the red

Piedmont - $1.6 million in the red

Looks like a big problem to me.

Did you intend to say that Teachers Unions (CTA) are EVIL? With that I would agree, but PUSD is not Evil....not always right but not even close to evil.

I think you guys are finally getting the message. It is not just the Teachers Union but all the Public Cesctor unions that are the problem. They are driving all the City, County, State and Federal Govt. to bankruptcy. The Feds can print money but that will only last so long before we go into rampant inflation and no one will buy Treasury paper. We are the world's biggest Banana Republic with no rules as Emperor Obama decides which companies will survive (with his favored constituencies like unions getting a huge share ahead of senior secured creditors) and which will die. There is no longer contract law being followed. We are getting similar to the Bolsheviks that could confiscate private property. Let us hope this trend can be stopped.
