Environmental groups lose bid to protect specific longfin smelt

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced Wednesday that the population of longfin smelt in the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta will not be protected under the federal Endangered Species Act.

Does this mean that humans will be able to have drinking water available again since they may be able to start the Delta pumps up again?
How dare the Fish and Wildlife Service favor people over fish.

I say throw the fish and wildlife people and the lawyers from the Sierra Club in the delta and then start the pumps
