Mortgage applications, refinances decrease

The Mortgage Bankers Association reported in its Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey for the week ending Jan. 2 that mortgage loan application volume was 1143.8, a decrease of 8.2 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis from 1245.7 one week earlier.
