Tracking software on stolen computer leads cops to thief

A briefcase grab early Wednesday morning from the Four Points Sheraton Hotel pretty much solved itself.

Proving, once again, that nothing good happens afteer midnight....especially in the presence of the perps described in this story.

Great work by the PD?

The tracking SW solved the case- similar to a kidnapped victim calling the cops and giving them the address.If it were not for the SW, the laptop would be history and the case would be in the historical files.
