Obama Staggered by Recent Scandals: Polls Show the Public Is Incensed by the Administration's Corruption

Original post made by Freedom is more than just a word, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on May 19, 2013

Recent public opinion polls reveal a steep drop in public support for the Obama administration.

Yesterday's Gallup poll shows Obama with a 51-42 approval rating. This is down from a 50-44 approval rating from a month ago.

Yesterday's Reason-Rupe poll similarly shows Obama with a 50-43 approval rating, down from 51-43 from a month ago.

And today's CNN poll shows Obama with a 53-45 approval rating, down from 52-43 from a month ago.

"The polls indicate that the Obama administration is reeling from Benghazi, IRS, and AP scandals," stated Sen. Steve King (R-Iowa). "If anyone has any doubts about Congress grinding all legislative matters to a halt in order to stage these costly trials, the polls show beyond a shadow of doubt that Congress has been vindicated."

King's Republican colleague in the Senate, Ted Cruz from Texas, stated in a rare moment of candor that he thinks Obama's precipitous drop in public opinion polls may make him more easily impeachable down the road. "As the polls indicate," stated Cruz, "Obama may be road kill."

Republicans are now preparing for another round of hearings, and several high-placed officials in the party are saying they are looking forward to hearing Hillary Clinton's response to the Boston Marathon bomber's note of affection that he scrawled in the boat in which he was captured: "I [heart] Hillary."

"The question of whether Clinton was implicated with the two brothers has not yet come up," stated Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). "It only stands to reason, however, that we investigate Ms. Clinton's travel records in order to discern where she was when the older brother was in Russia."

Never mind that the TEA Party groups actually were violating their tax-exempt status.

This is such a typical TEA Party scandal--rules, facts and the laws of gravity only apply to everyone else.

b - could not have said it better than myself. Freedom needs to get all of his facts before he spews untruths and puts words in other people mouths. If he is so unhappy why doesn't he move to Canada like all the Tea Partyer's threatened when President Obama won both his first and second election?

I admit I was a believer and voted twice for President Obama but I do not think he is going to survive this one. To many issues, scandals, and lies. Cash for clunkers, benghazi, IRS, AP and Fox reporter investigations, oil pipeline, NLRB, EPA etc. Just to much I think. I think he will stay in office but the backlash over this is going to cause us to pay dearly in this next election. The only democrats speaking in his defense are staffers and Nancy Pelosi.

I think we need leadership.

Cruz should choose his words more carefully, he may just be 'roadkill' himself. Senators are suppose to have a bit more dignity. He'll learn, or he'll lose.
It's not wise to cheer prematurely. The Republicans will over reach, like above. They cheer a bit too loud, and WAY too early. Cruz has had is cocky toes in his mouth ever since he recently arrived in DC...his foot is not far behind. He should keep his mouth shut, until he learns his way around, and the ropes...or, those rope just might hang him.

As Bob Dole states, the Republicans have no ideas. Bills to repeal Obamacare? 37. Bills to increase jobs? 0

What to do? Discuss vast conspiracy theories as filler for the vacuum that amounts to Republican ideas.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
