This is truly heartbreaking and unacceptable - this man needs to be held responsible for this recent death. He was involved in the murder of Jackson Butler (April 15, 2020) of Pleasanton and was released with an ankle monitor because he was a juvenile. I think it’s pretty clear he is not capable of rehabilitation. He needs to serve time for MURDER. That’s what this is. He was evading a police officer! He has no regard for human life - he deserves to rot in prison. You would think, after being given a second chance after the first murder, he would try and become a model citizen. Nope, he will be out in a few years to KILL again!! Disgusted with the alameda county DA’s office.....

As I understand this, Mr. Brandon was fleeing police at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a vehicle killing Ms. Woodward. But the Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price has determined that "the lead count is now deemed nonviolent."
This is what happens when we ignore down ballot election contests.
