"Price likened the effort to the insurrection of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, following President Donald Trump's loss in the 2020 election."
The Alameda County DA is an elected official that has to answer to the voters, not a dictator. A legal and peaceful signature gathering process by the residents of this county to force a recall election (as with done with Chesa Boudin in San Francisco) has nothing to do with an "insurrection."
If there is any "insurrection" as it relates to being a DA, it's from Price. Holding criminals accountable and keeping residents safe is put on the back burner (or simply ignored) in favor of being a public defender and social justice warrior. Does anyone feel safer walking the streets of Oakland (and will criminals think twice about what they are doing there) as a result of her efforts to "root out racial, gender and economic disparities"?

Bring on the recall! It is time to stand up for victims, not criminals. Our safety here in Pleasanton is at stake.

I signed the petition. Price transferred or furloughed all the prosecutors in the ALCO DA's office when she was elected. They actually went out and formed a union when they heard she was running so she couldn't just fire them. Then she brought in her cronies who are not criminal lawyers - they're college professors and civil rights lawyers. She just hired a new prosecutor that was under investigation for sexual harassment in Marin. She's done alot of things in office that really should have laws written to make them illegal - like interfering in judge's rulings.
Let's not stop at recalling her - let's secede from Alameda County. The ALCO board of supervisors is nuts too. 3 years of eviction moratoriums.

Life long democrat and I fully support a recall. There are no words for how bad she is.
