My husband and I can't wait for Costco and the gas station to come to Pleasanton. It will be so much easier for us to shop there which we do frequently. We are an older couple, and the freeway is just not safe to travel on anymore with all of the craziness that goes on the road. We are excited for Costco to be here in Pleasanton.

Maybe they can work on the Gas Station first so that can open early. Thats the best part of the whole Project, no more expensive gas when i'm in that area of town.

The obvious reason why the roadwork is taking forever is because they have one person working on it maybe one day every two or three weeks. I drive past that area everyday and never see any workers. Although, one day I did see one guy who looked like he was knocking down a few weeds.

Judging by the gas prices today, July 13, Safeway in Pleasanton offers regular for $4.37 while Costco offers $4.52 a gallon. Seems Costco is out the gas price competition, if that is so, why Costco? An empty nest family does not need Costco, unless of course they wish to buy multiple quantities of items they may need or not need.

highdiver, what do the cox family gas stations in pleasanton and dublin charge? having one gas station with decent priced gas (safeway) is not enough.

Cannot wait for Costco to open getting tired of going to Livermore and Danville and sometimes Hayward because they all do not carry the same items at each one but hopefully when Pleasanton opens everything will be solved .

We have waited so long for Costco! Can’t wait for the gas and convenience of the new store! Adding gas pumps first makes sense.
