TVW January Workshop

Original post made by Eve Sprunt, Livermore, on Dec 11, 2022

At the Tri-Valley Writers meeting on January 21, 2023, C. S. Lakin will lead a three-hour workshop on how to convey the emotions of your characters and evoke an emotional response in readers.

Ms. Larkin, a novelist, copyeditor, writing coach, mom, and backpacker is the author of over a dozen nonfiction books on the craft of writing and productivity and the fiction track director of the San Francisco Writers’ Conference.

Join us on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in Room 2470 Las Positas College, 3000 Campus Hill, Livermore. Check-in begins at 1:30 p.m.

It will be an in-person meeting only and we will NOT offer a recording. Reservations are required at Web Link Workshop Registration: $25 CWC Members, $30 Non-CWC Members, $10 CWC Student Members, $15 Non-CWC Student Members.

There is no charge for parking on Saturdays. Las Positas students will be free with their Las Positas Activity card, but they must pre-register. Registration information is on the Tri-Valley Writers website.

We invite students with a current Las Positas activity card who wish to access member benefits (Newsletter, critique groups, etc.) to join our branch of the California Writers Club. We view this as an opportunity to mentor young writers.

Tri-Valley Writers is currently accepting new members. Please contact [email protected] if you have questions.
