Police: Robbery suspects, neighbor exchange gunfire in Danville

Danville police were investigating into the night Tuesday after a robbery attempt reportedly turned into an exchange of gunfire on the north side of town not far from downtown. No injuries were reported; culprits remain at-large.

“Police did not release a description of the suspects nor their vehicle.”

Why? And why hasn’t someone (I don’t know, maybe an up and budding journalist) asked for a release of this information? What could possibly be behind that decision?

Excellent point, Jake. This is public information. Reporters should demand it. If police refuse to release the info, state that they refused to release what is legally public information. Then ask witnesses to describe the suspects and their vehicle.
