Alameda County Fair opening week is here

The Alameda County Fair returns for its first summer appearance in Pleasanton since 2019 beginning this Friday at the fairgrounds. Opening week at the fair will feature fan favorite activities and special events alike.

January 1 means nothing to me. My year ends each year with the fair. The ghosts of previous fairs are everywhere, and remind me of how much time has passed. Then it's time to pack it all up, and start the year anew.
