Original post made on Feb 25, 2022

With the Russian Federation launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Rep. Eric Swalwell on Thursday denounced Russian President Vladimir Putin and backed the package of sanctions the U.S. and its allies announced against Russia.

Congressman Swalwell has compromised his independence with his apparent close association with the alleged CCP Spy-Woman. As far as I can tell this congressman is a captured useful CCP tool. Russia is fighting against a Nazi faction propped up by US neocons and our constant intrusion of bringing more nations into NATO closer and closer to the boarders of Russia, which is a break in our promise not to do so.

Our real battle is with the CCP in China that Biden and the Democratic Party serves as a puppet. The CCP is trying to fulfill a 100 year strategy to kill off 200-million Americans, and take over our farm lands without contaminating the waters or soil with a nuclear attack on the US. Swalwell and Biden and the Democratic Party have done nothing to work with Putin, but speak strong words, and publicly project their military responses on what the US will and will not do, even inviting Putin to act.

Sanctions have a minor effect on Putin. Russia has a gold backed international Ruble and no longer has to work through the US Federal Reserve bank clearing houses. Our currency settlement system for international trade settlements is no longer the only currency settlement system. Putin can trade with other nations and even Germany without using US Federal Reserve dollars. The owners of the current US Federal Reserve system are legacy families of Europe, not US citizens, whose names we all recognize and no longer want running our world.

For Putin and Russia, the greater enemy to Russia is a Nazi regime. Russia will war to prevent it's rise again. Russia lost millions of Russians to the Nazi's in WW2; They aren't going to stand down with US Democrats that are pushing more Nazi regimes at them.

The developing opinion seem to be that financial sanctions against Russia must be made far stronger than what Biden is proposing currently.

@Rich Buckley,

I really can't tell if you're being sarcastic or making an attempt at humor. Do you honestly believe Putin's nonsense about Nazis in Ukraine being supported by Americans? There's got to be a reason you're repeating Russian propaganda and taking it at face value.

Also, what's with the weird conspiratorial business about the US Federal Reserve system? Who are these names you're talking about? Maybe you can name a few of them. I don't know what you're getting at there either.

US Democrats pushing Nazi regimes in Ukraine? You have to be joking.

U.S (our taxdollar) Has Spent Six Trillion Dollars on Wars That Killed Half a Million People Since 9/11...meanwhile nobody bats an eye.

Now everyone is a sympathetic foreign policy expert on Ukraine; 90% of us can't name their prime minister or 3 Ukrainian cities.

"nobody bats an eye"

What? Where have you been the last 20 years? Not only were there many protests right here in our backyard in the Bay area, there were also objections raised in Congress to even going into Iraq, much less keeping the war going for as long as it did.

People are rightfully objecting now to a murderous dictator invading a peaceful country on its border and trying to make its own borders to include that country. Putin is the bad guy.

What team is Eric Swalwell playing for- China, Russia, the USA? See the link regarding Russia connected donations: Web Link

Eric should be the last person talking. These Democrats continue to make foreign policy blunders one after another. Who’s awake in Washington? We were energy independent. We did have a philosophy of America first. It’s gone in a year. We now buy gas from Putin. Really? We have weak Generals directing our military through important issues as CRT, white rage, and gender misidentification.

Those in the tri-valley that keep rewarding Swalwell by continually electing him are part of the problem.

Swalwell please go tell Putin to stop. I’m sure if he knew he was upsetting a district 15 rep from ca representing the Bay Area he’d gladly change his mind. I’ll buy your ticket, go.

Instead of waging your continued lost war on trump (he took himself out), please do something, anything, good for the people you’re supposed to represent.

And trumps an idiot, but if you actually took the time to read what he said you’d realize it wasn’t in support of what Putin is doing, but commentary on how he’s getting away with it. Again, stupid, but not what you’re making it out to be. Find some new material or actually do something. I’ll buy your ticket

Putin killed far less people than any American president this century, especially Obama the hawk. If Putin is murderous, he's baby numbers compared to USA.

Putin is a murderous maniac invading a peaceful country that was no threat to Russia. This has nothing to do with Obama.

You would have to be crazy to support Putin in this.

""I have full faith in the Biden administration's ability to respond swiftly...."

I don't. Biden has enough trouble showing up on time to his scheduled "responses". It requires little "ability" to read what his handlers have put on a teleprompter for him, call on reporters he feels comfortable with or to just walk away from briefings without taking any questions.

Sanctions won't affect Putin because he's used to them. To discourage Putin, the United States needs to ramp up oil/natural gas production and then provide the increased LNG supplies to European nations/NATO members. Without energy revenue and a monopoly on supplying oil/gas to nations in Europe, he loses leverage. Unfortunately, none of this will be done because Biden is beholden to the climate alarmists in his party that want to get rid of fossil fuels - regardless of the economic and national security consequences.

If Putin is a murderer why did he kill less people than clinton/bush/obama/trump? Why did US invade Libya, Syria and killed 500,000 people?

Short Man Syndrome (SMS)
Vladimir Putin has SMS. Napoleon Syndrome.

At five feet six inches, Putin displays all the vindictive attributes short men garner.
Lying is a very common symptom of Napoleon Complex, it becomes possible to distant
perceptions of reality.

This allows the individual to create results within a world of fantasy that still feels real to them. Putin conjured up the necessity to invade Ukraine, explained his reasoning to the Russian people, invaded.

Along the way Putin rattled the nuclear option to the western democracies, threatened Finland and Sweden with military consequences over NATO. Putin will be responsible for tens of thousands of casualties, millions of women displaced, cold and hungry.

if I was just a few years younger. I would go to Ukraine jump into this fight against Putin and his forces.

Vast difference in the way Ukrainians are defending their country against Putin compared to the way Afghans defended (not) their country against the Taliban. I am not criticizing the Afghans but pointing out the differences and underlying drivers for people to rise up against authoritarian rulers. The majority of afghans clearly did not care about their government and system of leadership to pick up arms and fight for it. Their army collapsed and their president escaped the country as soon as things got tough.

I am glad we are out of Afghanistan.

Today Putin put his nuclear forces on alert, to be "combat ready". With taking this action Putin blamed sanctions the west has put in place. It is retaliation from a paranoid man claiming the west is out to get him.

Chinas Jīn Xi Ping has jumped in with support of Putin's invasion of Ukraine. China - "Russia's invasion of Ukraine is Americas fault.'

I remember Russa shooing down a Korean passenger plane September 1, 1983. When it accidently drifted into Russian airspace. Russia shot it down for the pure pleasure of Tarket practice. They knew it was a passenger plane.

Again 2014, Russian forces shot down a commercial airliner, Malaysia flight 17, over Ukraine. 283 passengers and fifteen crew members lost their life's.

This nuclear alert Putin ordered today is dangerous. All it takes is one miscalculation, or one dumb move.

And Abraham Lincoln killed 600,000 people, but that has nothing to do with Ukraine.

Anyone supporting Vladimir Putin in this invasion needs to have their head examined.

Sunday evening, I watched a video of Vladimir Putin speaking to military generals charged with Russia's nuclear weapons.

Putin was giving them instruction to preparedness for launch of ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads. The two generals seating approximately twenty-five feet away from Putin, who set at the head of the long table.

When Putin finished him instruction, the older general sitting left from Putin, smiled, said yes sir. His demeanor was, boy I cannot wait to push the button.

The slightly younger general immediately to the left of the older general had an expression of disbelief. He said nothing.

This meeting was tapped, presented to the media.
