As always - I support matinee performances at the Firehouse theater at 2 PM but we forgo the 8 PM ones at night.

Reasoning is following an afternoon performance we can follow up with dining downtown and discussion of the performance with friends. We are seniors and start rolling up the sidewalk around 9 PM so an 8 PM performance is not something we look forward to at the end of the day.

We enjoy the activities in Pleasanton but do it daytime, leave the nights to the night owls.

I agree with Bob. With all the Seniors in town who don't like to drive at night, I'd think the matinees would be a sellout.
