Newsom can try to sound "tough" on crime all he wants to address bad poll numbers for his party on this issue. Anyone using the term "gun violence epidemic" is just the opposite. More blame society/collective guilt fluff from the political left. Objects (guns) do not cause/commit acts of violence and the people doing the shooting (devastating) on the streets of our cities are not victims of a "disease".
