Redistricting: New maps split portions of Tri-Valley

Following last week's vote by the California Citizens Redistricting Commission to approve final maps ahead of their Dec. 27 deadline and move to the next stage of once-in-a-decade process, the Tri-Valley is set to be split in 2022.

I saw no mention in the article of our local Pleasanton city politicians on their feelings about this split. Do they not care? Hubris? What is going on?

It is a shame we are being split. Who is fighting for our community of interest?
