NFL legend: Pleasanton's John Madden dies at age 85

Hall of Fame coach, broadcasting legend and Pleasanton resident John Madden died unexpectedly today at the age of 85.

Couch Madden knew that Charlie Johnson, Denver Broncos quarterback was also a chemical engineer. The only other person that knew that, was Charlie Johnson.

Condolences to the Madden family. His legacy will live on, not only what he did outside Pleasanton but also within. Much respect to a legend on so many levels.
