County supervisors' action Tuesday could help determine if A's will stay in Oakland

The Alameda County Board of Supervisors will signal support one way or the other for a new ballpark for the Oakland A's at the waterfront Howard Terminal site on Tuesday.

Just say “NO” to county taxes going to a professional sports team. We got sold a bill of goods when the city of Oakland and Alameda county spent over $100,000,000 “renovating” the coliseum. It’s turned out to be a huge waste of scarce tax payer dollars. Let’s not make a similar mistake again.

I love the A’s but this shouldn’t fly.
