Pleasanton: Council confirms Weekend on Main to end downtown on Labor Day

Weekend on Main will come to a close at the end of Labor Day weekend, after the Pleasanton City Council unanimously agreed on Tuesday to make way for other events and activities downtown like Concerts in the Park and holiday shopping.

I like Julie Testa's idea of taking up less of a footprint, and this is how you do it. Raze City Hall, the Police Station, the Library and any other city owned building and use the land for your little weekend parties. Heck you can party all year long over there. As for where you can put your City Hall and such just stick them in the industrial park somewhere.

@craig - ixnay on bringing up the idea of bulldozing those city owned buildings, it was only 2or 3 years ago that they were trying to figure out a way of dragging $200+ million out of us to build themselves a new city complex/ police station/ library across Bernal please let sleeping dogs lie and hope their memories are short.
