Valley Views: Musical interlude

Thank you, Pleasanton Weekly, for having quality articles written about the arts , especially Dolores Fox Ciardelli’s “Valley Views” contributions. Pleasanton and the region are very supportive of the arts, and Dolores has pointed out and written wonderful articles about the many arts activities around the area. My young daughter has an interest in music and her music teachers have been very generous with their time and talents making a significant impact on how this love of music develops. When performing arts venues were closed my daughter and I watched the virtual interview with Jon Nakamatsu as well his performance at the Bankhead’s benefit. We were very impressed by the quality of his talent but most importantly my daughter was enthralled with the music despite her young age. We are very excited to see Jon’s concert in person at the Bankhead after a long wait for theaters to open again.
