Pleasanton Preps: Basking in return of local horse racing, my thoughts are also with another Amador buddy now gone

Last weekend brought live horse racing back to the Alameda County Fairgrounds, and it brought back live racing fans as well. As successful as opening weekend was, I've also been thinking about my late friend Mike 'Chan' Chandler.

No one should be basking in the return of animal abuse! Horse racing is an abusive sport of money and greed in which horses die daily! Please don’t support this abuse!
