Fireworks sales returning to Dublin ahead of Fourth of July

Dublin is again allowing nonprofits to sell "Safe and Sane" fireworks for fundraising purposes around the Independence Day holiday starting next week. All other Tri-Valley cities continue to ban fireworks for fire-safety reasons.

The sale/use of fireworks during fire season in a drought: Does this sound crazy to anyone else? I'd like to know if/will these non-profits sell to Pleasanton/Livermore/San Ramon/Danville residents where fireworks are banned.
