My family and I enjoyed attending both the Bankhead and the Firehouse Theaters before they had to close due to Covid 19. The resident companies who perform at the Bankhead, like my daughter’s dance group, couldn’t hold performances over the winter holidays this year which is their major fundraiser and the Bankhead received no rental fees from them. We are eager to see live performances in person again and need to support the arts in our communities. Not only do they provide us entertainment they add to the bottom line of the local businesses such as restaurants.
