It will be nice to see restaurants open again, but this time with an ACTUAL 6 feet between tables at ALL restaurants. I know it will reduce capacity, but some capacity is better than none and I hate to see spikes again due to irresponsibility. Keep in mind, we aren't talking 6 feet from middle of one table to middle of the next but 6 feel between the patrons sitting at adjacent tables. It was so disheartening to walk downtown and see tables with 3 feet between the back of chairs. Please be concerned for your patrons so we can come back and support local in person.

Remember Wear A Mask, Wash Your Hands, Socially Distance. or WAMWYDSD. For your information Gina that is not name calling it is called an acronym.

Glad to see this, though it makes no sense as Newsom isn't providing transparency into the models that are guiding our rules.
Now PUSD - get our kids back in the classroom. No more excuses. No more "talk". Lets see action. Open up the option to classroom learning for those students and teachers in need of it.

What about the new variant which makes COVID even more contagious ? Has it hit California? Glad to see the number go down, but it was only because of the tightened rules. Please Realize the numbers will go back up, absolutely no question, since things are relaxed again BEFORE most are immunized... Be careful, wear your masks and don't sit at a table at a restaurant where there isn't 6ft or more between the back of your chair and the next person's chair. Wear a mask if you are not shoveling food or drink into your mouths.
I personally feel sitting at a restaurant and not ORDERING TAKE OUT is irresponsible at this time, until more vaccines are taken by the majority of our communities. Eating out is entertainment and more about being social, but is it worth the risk for you and others you may spread it to? Tough choices, I know...

Wow...you really think that we are that stupid. Biden becomes president and now you are going to open up the economy! Unbelievable. People actually believe this.

Claudette McDermott,
I respect your decision to remain more cautious. Thank you for not passing judgement on those making a different choice than your own.

Remember 3 weeks ago when some Pleasanton restaurants opened for 4 days. I haven't heard of a big outbreak......
