Karla Brown Is Mayor Elect

Original post made by Michael Austin, Pleasanton Meadows, on Nov 8, 2020

As an independent observer:

I declare Karla Brown Mayor elect!

Based on current margins in the ongoing vote count and with approximately 15,000 ballots remaining to be counted for the mayor race in Pleasanton.

Karla Browns current margin of 47.36% would win 7,050 of those remaining votes on the uncounted ballots.

Jerry Pentins current margin of 35.45% would win 5,250 of those remaining votes on the uncounted ballots.

Karla Brown will be the new mayor of Pleasanton.

Very excited to have a new direction on the City Council majority with a Mayor Elect, Karla Brown, who is going to to be more responsive to the resident’s wishes for our community. Congratulations to our new Mayor and Council Members!
