Deaths from Covid-19 ..can't find out anywhere

I have been trying to find out how many actual deaths from Covid-19 have occurred for Pleasanton residents.
I can find out the number of cases, but not deaths.
I can find out deaths for ALL of Alameda County, but not Pleasanton alone.
Why is this information so hard to get? Should be public information.
Anyone know a URl/link/telephone number to get that information?

I have been told that the staff at the City of Pleasanton cannot get that information. WHAT THE F?????
