Sen. Glazer calls for a second lockdown for most of California

Original post made on Jul 27, 2020

Tri-Valley State Sen. Steve Glazer (D-Orinda) is leaning on Gov. Gavin Newsom to enact another shelter-in-place policy for most parts of California until the COVID-19 virus is under control.

This is ‘The Maddening Of The Crowds.’ The Democrats need to be stopped for their misreporting of data, fear-mongering, and outright intent to affect the election. This is political- plain and simple. Not one of these Democrats, to include Gavin Newsom, is making any claims of denouncing the riots and demonstrations, where they are not wearing masks or social distancing, but instead they punish us. They are destroying this state. My God, it needs to stop.

I think I will send this to Sen. Glazer's office in hopes he might actually view it:

THE DEBATE OF THE DECADE

Kennedy Jr. Vs Dershowitz on Face Masks, Vaccines and "Mandatory"

So I sent it to his office. His office is impressive in that he is one of the few people who list their direct email: [email protected] without a filter.

I'm hoping you will watch this before you drive over your cliff:

THE DEBATE OF THE DECADE Kennedy Jr. Vs Dershowitz on Face Masks, Vaccines and "Mandatory"
Web Link

Schooling Dershowitz is not an easy task, yet Kenney Jr seems to break through on one of the most influential minds in the country (Dershowitz).

There seem to be important lessons in here for you to ponder.

It is sad to see this disease being politicized. People on the left should have spoken out against demonstrations that weren't socially distancing or wearing masks. People on the right should stay away from crazy miracle cures and conspiracy theories.

It's also sad to see anti-vaxxers posting here. I hope you really don't believe that nonsense. Vaccines don't cause autism.

@Rich Buckley

Thank you for the Link Rich, I plan on watching this with my wife and will comment later. Though I differ in political views with them, I have listened to their opinions regarding a number of issues, where at times I have found some common ground.

@BobB

Sorry BobB, I didn't notice your comment pushing the same old repetitive mantra. I see you are still stuck on autism. Is there a connection with you?

During the protests, rioting and looting I thought the Covid-19 pandemic was over. What happened? After the politicians shirked their responsibility to protect civil peace then, they now want to move on to some more malfeasance by demonstrating their total ignorance of economic life.[Interestingly, coming from people who were never in danger of losing their jobs or businesses.]

Last week in the entire U.S. population of over 330 million people there had been a total of 30 children under the age of 15 who had died from Covid-19. Putting that number into perspective, in a typical year 190 children die from the flu, 436 from suicide, 625 are murdered and 4,114 from accidental deaths from drowning. Most of the deaths are in 65+ age category, yet we want to close down schools and businesses and devastate our economy causing much more collateral damage than Covid-19 every will. Sorry, but this makes no sense.

Looks to me from the news over the weekend is that the only place that needs a lock down is Oakland and quarantining anybody from other cities who travel there to participate in the violent, anti federal government protests.

@Jake Waters,

Vaccinate your children. Stay away from the weird conspiracy theory websites. Those miracle cures don't work. They are just fraud.

Wear a mask. Practice social distancing. Get a flu shot.

The United States is really an embarrassment to the world. So many countries got this virus under control. We screwed up royally.

"We screwed up royally"... when the dems decided to use this as a political weapon against the President. Keep it going with lies so that they can push mail in voting in Nov. Remember, it's not who votes, but who counts the votes. If masks work, then why didn't they give them to the inmates at the start instead of releasing them from prison?
Make sure that the churches stay closed, but say nothing about a surge because THE RIOTERS RAN AMOCK because they have the right to. Hypocrisy on parade.

@Rich Buckley: excellent recommendation on the debate- Kennedy Jr. Vs Dershowitz on Face Masks, Vaccines and "Mandatory.” It was informative and smart. I suggest others view it as well. I’m surprised YouTube would allow it to remain on their platform with the way they (Google) are silencing free speech particularly from conservatives and anyone that disagrees with liberals.

@BobB: you need to view this debate. I don’t take flu vaccines and we didn’t allow our children to be subjected vaccinations in childhood. You really do a disservice with your mindless repetitive nonsense.

Glazer is insane. The evil Democrats HAVE to be stopped before they kill all our jobs and freedoms.

@Jake Waters,

Get a flu shot. Wear a mask. Vaccinate your children. Don't take medical advice from lawyers or quacks.

We are peeing into the wind. Unless or until this state’s voters wake up and realize that the only thing the Elected Dems in this state hasn’t ruined is the lovely weather. The weather in fact is the only thing keeping a lot of people here. I just wonder how much in tax increases the dem voter will stand before they realize things could be so much better with real jobs here for real people.

I don’t like Newsom, Glazer is worth listening to, doesn’t mean you have to agree with everything he says or proposes, but I think he’s one of the more moderate politicians.
