Pleasanton Preps: CIF postpones high school sports, likely until spring term

The California Interscholastic Federation on Monday announced a timeline that postpones fall sports until likely the spring term due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This decision will most likely be rescinded after the November elections.

I am very thankful that as of now, seasons aren’t being cancelled and that the need for athletics for our kids is being recognized. Team and individual sports are just as important as a strong academic program.
