The district is leaving all distance learning options up to the teachers on how to conduct class, no "active class" requirements.
I would think this creates a huge accountability issue around ensuring students get their instructional hours - yet tax payers are still funding full time education without getting any accountability for how the district is ensuring students aren't just getting busy work, and are getting active instructor led content.
I understand the need for distance learning, but this does not seem to be a responsible solution. Can someone recommend legal representation for this concern? Thank you!
