Good. Her record of representing the community over personal interests is highly questionable, we do not want this person in the driver seat.

Couldn't disagree more with JC in Valley Trails and would like to know specifically what personal interest Narum has promoted over the course of her long and committed tenure of public service? I have only seen Councilmember Narum show up for the City of Pleasanton and never for her personal gain.

We'd be hard-pressed to find anyone more dedicated to the well-being of our city than Vice Mayor Narum. JC's suggestion of some imagined impropriety is simply hogwash at its worst. Many of us were looking forward to her continued strong leadership, understanding of the issues, and dedication to making this city the best it can be as it moves out of this crisis called Covid. Small business will miss her strong support, but can count on her to continue to work her remaining two years on the council. Her endorsement of Jerry Pentin for the mayoral position means the transition into what will be a challenging time of economic and emotional recovery can move ahead with the continued dedication to principle and doing what it takes to make Pleasanton a top-ranked California city. False accusations have no place here, and JC should feel quite ashamed.

Nice to see Vice Mayor Narum fulfill her obligation…of these 4 years. Quite a smart move.

This is unfortunate, Narum has been dedicated to the City and would have made a great Mayor.

On occasion I have found Narum to be a bit rude to other council members and also noted she historically voted with developers at the expense, in my opinion, of the community. She does not seem to be open minded. Can't understand why the fact that she isn't running made news - Must be a slow news day.

My observation is that Julie Testa bullies Narum to try and get the third vote with Councilmember Brown supporting Julie's off-the-wall ideas. (See the last two council meetings especially mattters initiated at the end of the meeting.) 9hAFbIt would be hard to not be rude under those circumstances. Frankly, I'm more concerned about councilmember Brown supporting Testa while running for Mayor. I saw a video on facebook where Karla Brown says "Jule Testa and I support police reform". I'm not interested in seeing our wonderful city go in the direction Julie Testa and Karla Brown seem to want to take us.
