Is there a permit issued for this protest? Why is the protest allowed to be by residences, businesses and schools ? Why is this large group allowed NOW IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY NUMBERS GROWING. MOVE THE PROTEST DATE TILL AFTER ALL COVID RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED....or Move it to a different location!

The Supreme Court just started that Churches and Organizations must follow guidelines and stay smaller than 10 people. Cancel the protest till after this pandemic is over. Our law enforcement needs to enforce the law and protect ALL people’s health and safety at this time. Protest past bad behavior another time or in another location like San Francisco where they have lower numbers and lifted restrictions.

How long do we think it will be before this destruction comes to the suburbs. I mean if they truly believe white people are the problem then why are 25 year old white kids screaming black lives matter as they loot and destroy black homes and businesses? Its only commonsense that if you are mad at your neighbor you don't destroy your own home to get back at him.

Protests in Pleasanton were orderly and Peaceful. Well done, Pleasanton! I am very proud to live here. Now if we could only stop a certain segment of the population from clumping Peaceful Protesters with Looters and Rioters...

@resident
If they didn't riot and loot we would not have to. Suburbia is the only place where we seem to get one without the other. My brother lives in Chicago and he says that its peaceful during the day and then at night turns into a purge. Very painful to see that riots/protests hurting the african american communities besides I do not see how the protests are going to help anything. Politicians will just go back to their business as usual after getting their photo ops.
