gun store-buy appointment(not allowed),landscaping material sold by a hardware store in Pleasanton is (O.K) residential tree cutting on Saturday in Pleasanton is (O.K.) retail stores all over Ca. closed but Amazon & U.P.S. trucks delivering all day & into the night. ARE THEY DELIVERING ONLY FOOD & GROCERIES AND NOT CLOTHING OR HOME FURNISHINGS? I see a lot of double standards here. IF OUR CLOTHING & FURNITURE STORES ALSO SELL BREAD & ASPIRIN CAN THEY STAY OPEN & ALSO SELL FURNITURE & CLOTHING? WHO MAKES THE RULES? YOU CANNOT HAVE SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT. IF AMAZON AND UPS AND HARDWARE STORES CAN DELIVER NON-ESSENTIALS THEN WHY MUST OUR LOCALLY OWNED STORES HAVE TO CLOSE.

Caps lock key stuck, or are you just happy to see me?

The gun store was not asked to close. It was asked to reduce to minimum operations. They’re still allowed to sell the same guns as before. But customers need to make appointments and such, so that the showroom does not become a gathering place for contagion. Pretty clear, pretty much just one standard, consistently applied.

Grumpy, did you bother to read Kelly’s explanation of what “basic operation” entails?

At least read the article before you go on to spread FUD

All caps is usually a sign of a mental health condition. Hopefully that person doesn't own any guns.

Everyone, chill. This temporary.

I too have been inconvenienced by the shelter-in place but my view is to make the best of it.
