How can you celebrate all of these accomplishments when the downtown is becoming a ghost town. With so many empty store fronts it is not a time to celebrate

The Pleasanton Downtown Association, the City’s Economic Development Department have a primary role to promote the Downtown. I’m not sure but I have heard the City’s regulations and fees make many businesses go to Livermore and Dublin instead where they assist small businesses. I have also heard Pleasanton landlords charge high leases. I think the City needs to waive fees and assist business owners through the process so the community can get more interesting variety of merchants and less vacant storefronts.
