Ann Coulter Arrived to Give Speach

Original post made by Michael Austin, Pleasanton Meadows, on Nov 21, 2019

When Ann Coulter arrived in Berkeley, she was greeted violently by ultra-bleeding-heart, hate spewing rank and file democratic party members.

Law enforcement arrested five of the democratic party members. One ticket holder trying to get inside to hear Ann Coulter speak was brutally beaten up, transported to the hospital.

All those arrested are rank and file democratic party members, and or thugs that support the democratic party philosophy. There was no conservative minded person arrested, they were victim, transported to the hospital.

This incident brings back memory of the democratic party rank and file member, who shot up the Republican House members ball game in DC, seriously wounding the Republican House whip, who to this day deals with rehab and ongoing surgeries.

A Berkeley scheduled appearance by Coulter didn't tale place in 2017 in the wake of violence before a schedule talk by another conservative speaker. Those same rank and file rioting democratic part members on that date, proceeded to nearby campus businesses, vandalized those businesses.

This democratic hate and ongoing protest by the rank and file democratic party membership seems to have no end. The other end of this democratic membership in congress is currently involved, attempting to impeach the president of the United States.

For the record: I am and have been a registered democrat for more then fifty-years. I was involved with all of the Kennedy family campaigns. I have never been a rank and file democratic party member. I generally vote a conservative ticket, which tends to be republican. With one regrettable exception, six years ago.

I voted for Eric Swalwell, because I wanted to get rid of Pete Stark. In hind sight, Pete Stark was the lessor of the two evils on the ticket.

And the irony of this is...it's the very place where Mario Savio stood in Sproul Plaza as the spokesman for the Free Speech Movement (FSM) in the early 60's. Back then there actually was free speech, not so much anymore.
College campuses have always been left leaning...they don't lean anymore!
When the Cold War ended, communism didn't end (not even in Russia). It was just the end of the Soviet Union's control of Eastern Europe. So communism took aim at our schools...ALL of our schools, high school and even grammar schools. They did a good job too as evidenced by all of the young voters praising the new "Democratic Socialism" and ready to vote for it.
I'm sure that many of those protestors weren't even students, but they were young and already indoctrinated to deny a basic and fundamental constitutional right that is given to all Americans.

I'm a "rank and file" Democrat, although once in awhile I will vote for a Republican who has ideas I like. That said, violent protests are unwarranted and uncalled-for. That includes whether they are at the Berkeley campus, a Trump rally, a white nationalist/KKK rally (think Charlottsville), or a Trump-supporting mail bomber. To infer that Ann Coulter, by comparison to "hate spewing" Democrats, is, well, the opposite, is truly laughable. Have you ever listened to, or read, Ann Coulter? And then, of course, there's the President. Talk about "hate spewing".

Protesting is a form of free speech that has long been used in our country to make a point (2017 Women's March), demand change (Civil Rights movement, Suffragettes), and/or take a stand (March For Our Lives, Standing Rock, take a knee). I, as a "rank and file" Democrat will continue to protest in writing and in person as long as raising an issue helps shed light on inequities, violence, corruption and cruelty, none of which are in short supply in today's world.

I, and my "ultra-bleeding-heart", will continue work to elect representatives that support the "[D]emocratic party philosophy" of protecting voting, minority, women's and LGBTQ rights, gun violence prevention laws, provide access to affordable health care, support our military and their families, protect our natural resources, believe in climate change and will work on mitigating effects, will work with our allies in order to once again become a world leader instead of a Putin follower.

We have a President who considers himself before the country, above the constitution and exempt from following our laws; a President who manages our country's domestic and foreign policy based on his business interests, personal gain and ego; a President who admires, provides cover for, and frankly, sucks up to, authoritarian leaders like Putin, Kim, Erdogan and bin Salman. Trump is a President whose administration, made up of "all the best people", has been under a huge ethics cloud from day 1 that has led to multiple resignations and a pending prison sentence. I've lost count of how many Trump advisers, campaign managers, supporters and lawyers are under investigation, have been indicted, found guilty, and are either in prison or awaiting sentence. So much for "all the best people".

Nope, I don't see an end to protests any time soon.

It is beyond debate that the current Democrat party is fascist in nature.

Forget freedom of speech.

facism
Dictionary.com: "a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism"

Merriam-Webster: "a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition"

Urban Dictionary: "The only official definition of Fascism comes from Benito Mussolini, the founder of fascism, in which he outlines three principles of a fascist philosophy.
1."Everything in the state". The Government is supreme and the country is all-encompassing, and all within it must conform to the ruling body, often a dictator.
2."Nothing outside the state". The country must grow and the implied goal of any fascist nation is to rule the world, and have every human submit to the government.
3."Nothing against the state". Any type of questioning the government is not to be tolerated. If you do not see things our way, you are wrong. If you do not agree with the government, you cannot be allowed to live and taint the minds of the rest of the good citizens."

fascist
Looks like the "fascist in nature" is actually President Trump as he tries to follow in the footsteps of his heroes: Putin, Kim, Erdogan, bin Salman, oh, and Chinese president Xi Jingping who recently abolished term limits in China for himself.

What's "beyond debate" is that in the USA we have a Constitution that allows its people and the people's representatives to question the motives, actions and results of a wannabe dictator-in-training.

Two of the five protesters arrested were not students. They were democratic party rank and file member thugs. Given the numbers, it is reasonable to assume that forty percent of the rioters were not students, which is often the case.

"To infer that Ann Coulter, by comparison to "hate spewing" Democrats, is, well, the opposite, is truly laughable."

Evidence?

"And then, of course, there's the President. Talk about "hate spewing". "

Evidence?

"I, and my "ultra-bleeding-heart...""

OK, but would you try and physically assault me for articulating policies that are contrary to yours?

I can sit here patiently and read what you write and not feel the slightest impulse to physically assault you. Your WORDS, though they offend me, do not HURT me in the slightest.

That is NOT what is being practiced on the left at the moment. They are demanding that opinion makers like Ann Coulter shut down their forums because they cliaim that their words HURT them physically.

Its complete and utter NONSENSE and everyone knows it.

So continue with your "bleeding heart" sensibilities, more power to you. When you cross the line where your bleeding hearts cause others to actually bleed over speech, then that is where we have to draw the line.

You people on the left keep making these accusations and projections, but you are unable to prove it. You project what you are actually guilty of. It has become very tiring, and perhaps your political organization should stop the coups, shut their mouths, and start helping this country. Do something productive rather than spending our money on fits of childlike behavior.
We Americans just exited 8 years of THE worst administration in American history. Be better than him.

Nice try Billie but there is no such thing as "gun violence". Objects (guns) do not commit acts of violence.

Democrats have played their cards on this issue (thank you Beto and Swalwell) despite their "common sense safety" spin. Gun bans/confiscation schemes for the law abiding - and excuses/rationalizations for the criminals who abuse them. None of this "prevents" crime.

Not "beyond debate". So called progressives (who want more government control over the citizens) ignore the Constitution when it suits them. They have no use for the 2nd Amendment or the Electoral College.

Actually trying to defend Trump is getting boring.

There's no end to his boorish reckless behavior, and if you don't believe he encourages physical violence check out this link and remember, he said he'd pay the legal fees for beating the crap out of his detractors. {"I Promise")

Attacking Trump, conservatives, Christians, Jews, and Republicans is also getting boring.

When I woke up the morning following the national election and learned that Trump was elected. I was elated to know that there was a republican, conservative congress in Washington.

Free Speech is scared, but when our Conservative GOP president encourages violence on those that express their free speech that opposes him, that sort of defeats the backbone of conservatism, Christianity, Republicans mantra …

If just a handful of impactful conservatives,
Christians or Jews would call him out publicly, the bleeding of our eroding democracy might slow-down or stop, but no, it seems like everybody except he left is afraid of challenging him, and are okay with him acting as a dictator or king in order to avoid a confrontation.

So this deal with Ann Coulter while not right is hilarious because of the hypocrisy at the top of the GOP leader board …. and all of his worshippers.

Wake-up it's easy to see.

You do know that it was conservatives who were attacked and it was a conservative speaker who was the target, right? Because if you don't then you got a problem. Who is encouraging violence? I think you better look at your the House of Reps.
That was a Republican who was shot on the softball field! and Nancy and Maxine got a lot of dirt under their nails.
