Picture this. Led by a woman on a bicycle wearing a full-body turkey suit, hundreds of holiday revelers will run, walk or stroll from the starting line of the fifth annual Tri-Valley Turkey Burn on Thanksgiving Day morning.

It is certainly refreshing and inspiring to read about adults (in this case, Pleasanton North Rotary) sponsoring an annual event to support life-changing opportunities for our children. We read too much about what kids do wrong; here we have what they do right! Kudos to you, Jim, for this story. I’ll be there ‘following the turkey’.

Thank you Lee Denlinger for helping create such a giving focus by Rotary International on our youth, 25% of our population, but 100% of our future.
