The first public safety power shutoff (PSPS) October 09, 2019, impacting Pleasanton did not shut off the power along the east side of Foothill road between I-580 on the north and Bernal on the south.
The second PSPS, shut off power on the east side of Foothill Road from Stoneridge Drive, continued through Bernal south and into Sunol and beyond, the Stone Ridge Mall remained powered up on this second PSPS.
This area from the I-580 east of Foothill Road south to Bernal have all utilities underground, it seems different people are flipping switches not consistent with any planning.
The question lingering, why was Stoneridge Mall singled out to have power, while all other residential neighborhoods in this same area with the utilities underground powered off?

Thank you, Pleasanton Weekly, for your coverage this past year of Livermore's fight against Big Tobacco and for your editorials of support. We couldn't have done it without the attention drawn by the news media to a Big Tobacco company like JUUL trying to push around a small city. Now we need to get these products out of the entire tri-valley!
