Malcolm Norrington was NEVER a teacher at Amador Valley High School. He was offered a job, but days later applied for and was selected for the Foothill VP position before ever putting in one day as a teacher. This guy jumps from town to town and job to job with alarming regularity. He was a coach in Dublin, then briefly held a job at their continuation school before moving on to a quick home-schooling gig in Pleasanton, then ALMOST became a full-time high school teacher, then changed his mind and decided he was ready now to be an administrator, and now after three weeks of that he’s running for school board!

Pleasanton Weekly, you seem to be as good at reporting as PUSD is about vetting applicants!

From a quick search of the internet, I find that Malcolm Norrington worked for LAUSD and performed campus security duties for Taft High in Woodland Hills CA. He was re-assigned after a hazing incident involving a sex toy and volleyball team hazing in a locker room at Taft High according local newspapers. He was disciplined in early 2009 for not reporting it according to the LA Times and LA Daily News ( Web Link , Web Link that names the employees). The police department, the LAPD, ended up conducting an investigation.

In October 2009, Malcolm Norrington filed a lawsuit against his employer LAUSD in a labor dispute involving a writ of mandamus. It involves employee discipline and involved allegations of misconduct at least 12 months earlier and prior to the hazing incident. From court records that I can find, it indicates he hired Michael A. McGill from the law firm Lackie Dammeier McGill & Ethir as his attorney in this lawsuit. The lawyer for LAUSD prevailed in the lawsuit and the writ of mandamus was denied.

For this lawsuit, Malcolm Nottingham hired the law firm through the LDF or Legal Defense Fund. His praise for them is found on the testimonial web page where he states at Web Link "I am very pleased with LDF and would use and recommend them again and again and again."

Lackie Dammeier McGill & Ethir, along with Christopher Lanzillo, a former Riverside police officer, were investigated over the last several years by the Orange County DA and Federal law enforcement and sued by elected officials in Southern California for illegally placing GPS tracking devices on cars to follow and intimidate elected officials throughout Southern California and arranging set-ups to arrest elected officials through false "dirty DUI" set-ups. Furthermore, former city manager Robb Quincey of Upland was arrested for felony corruption for funneling hush money payments to this law firm. This law firm is now closed and in 2018 paid $600,000 to settle claims that the mayor Jim Righeimer, the mayor's wife Lene and Steve Mensinger, a city council member, of Costa Mesa filed in a lawsuit against the police and this law firm for this outrageous misconduct --- Web Link Lanzillo was sentenced to jail.

The webpage for the now defunct law firm that outlines tactics to intimidate businesses, private citizens, city managers, elected officials through a "playbook" was once on their website called policeattorney.com that has been taken down, but copies of it can be found online. If you search for the term policeattorney.com, you will find references of the contents of infamous playbook in LA Times articles.
