PPIE has been a wonderful partner and supporter of the students and teachers in Pleasanton for many years, helping to maintain high student achievement. Thank you for all that you do, which helps to maintain a strong community as well as real estate values -- Pleasanton is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. And many thanks to all the families and businesses that donate to PPIE so they can do this good work.

I wish ppie would send a bill to the district for every dollar they donate that is supposed to be funded by existing bonds, parcel tax money, tax revenues.

The money isn’t enriching education, it’s propping it up. “Pillar” is a good description. What was supposed to be the extras has become foundational and institutionalized.
