A new holiday tree in downtown Pleasanton

Crews recently planted a Deodar cedar outside the Museum on Main that will be used as the new centerpiece of the city of's holiday display downtown after the seven-story cedar that served as the city's holiday tree for health reasons.

Will they replant it? I know they can be bought in 72" boxes. Not sure about their height in those boxes, but it would be nice to have a reasonable sized replacement tree that can grow back over the years.

Or have they decided that they can't get the fungus out in that spot?
