So sad I saw this as driving to the freeway. I got to tell ya the big rigs on 580 and Altamont is way too much, they back up traffic and cause accidents. The state should band the big Rigs from 205 and 580 at certain times of the day specially at commute time.

So looks like you are blaming the big rig driver?????
Next time you go to the store and buy something-think about how that item go to the store. Next time you get fuel for your vehicle think about it.
truck drivers need to make a living too. They don't always get to spend holidays,or special events with their loved ones since they are busy delivering goods for you.

Most accidents are NOT caused by the truck driver BUT the drivers that don't pay attention to the trucks. A truck cannot stop on a dime when some moron in a BMW cuts ahead of him to beat one car ahead.

BTW-the truck in this accident was stopped legally at a red light and Mr Kia slammed into the back of him. Was not the truck drivers fault. I feel bad for the truck driver having to live with this the rest of his life.

Trafficsucks. How can you blame the truck driver. Luckily it was a big rig he hit. Had it been another car Kia man probably would have killed himself and anybody in else in the other car or cars in front of him. The ignorance of some of the posters here is phenomenal.
