Steinle defendant's federal trial postponed until Supreme Court rules on double jeopardy case

The federal gun possession trial of the undocumented immigrant who possessed the gun that killed Pleasanton native Kate Steinle in San Francisco in 2015 has been postponed for at least several months while a U.S. Supreme Court ruling in a different case is awaited.
