Sad to hear about the demise of Sandi Thorne. She represented the values and spirit of Pleasanton. I am sure she is in a better place. "Surely we belong to God and to Him we return". I pray for the strength of Mayor's family to bear this loss.

Sandi was a wonderful person, a person you wanted as a friend. She would listen to a long discussion and then offer a succinct and pithy comment full of humor and grace. She will be missed by many.

Jerry, Marty and I were truly saddened to hear of Sandi's passing last Friday. Sandi was a wonderful person and was always at your side for sure. As the Founding Chairman of the Pleasanton Military Families Support Group it was great to see her always with you as we did dozens and dozens of Welcome Homes for our troops from Pleasanton. We are grateful that your daughter and her family were able to be visiting you and Sandi from their home in Europe--as it turned out it was to be a sad visit for sure. Sincerely, Chris and Marty Miller

We appreciated Sandi for her community efforts and her direct way of communicating. We grieve this loss, especially for Jerry and family. You both have shown great leadership, and we are ready to pitch in wherever needed. Loved being with you in Tulancingo. It won't be the same without Sandi. Best wishes during this difficult time.
