KFC Contractor - Noise into the night

Original post made by Disturb the neighbors, Danbury Park, on May 17, 2018

After fencing off the site,
(including ruining the parking for the nearby businesses)
and then doing nothing for MONTHS, a contractor finally tore down the old KFC.
It's been closed over a year- why?
Signs say they are going to build a new building, with a better drive thru.

But Thursday night they had heavy equipment roaring well into the evening.

The Pleasanton Police are Great!
They said they'd check to see if they had a Night Work Permit,
and later they called me back to say they needed one, and did not have it.

The noise stopped about 15 minutes later.

Hopefully the contractor will get the message!

An Army tradition seemed to be:
"Hurry Up and Wait!"

This is:
Delay, then try to Rush;
OR pull an all nighter?

Never time to do it right?

"Signs say they are going to build a new building, with a better drive thru."
But the stuff they sell as food will still be the same, right?

Say There Pleasanton People....we have a new business coming into Pleasanton on Hopyard and Valley Avenue...the old Straw hat Pizza place
will soon become " Porky's Pizza and Chicken". Serving dinners as well.

Their Pizza and Chicken is really unbelievably delicious . Yes, I know another pizza joint but at least it's close to our area and not downtown along with all the massage parlors. Great food and great new owners coming from San Leandro. Let's make them feel welcome when they open the new place!
