It is about time they start enforcing safety on BART. By allowing misbehavior and jumping the gates, sooner or later the regular passengers will stop riding it. I refuse to ride through Oakland at night because of the drunks using the cars as bathrooms and sleeping cars.EtQD7

Too little - too late. The entire BART system is unaccountable and out of control. BART is by far the worst mass transit system I have ever experienced.

too many problems are occurring on the Bart trains and too little police around to stop this from happening.....I used to often use Bart for rides into San Francisco but not anymore

@PP. when did Undocumented become the new term for ILLEGAL? Anybody else see a pattern here for who is committing most of the crimes in town!

"Police issued an order that prevents him from riding BART for a while and took him to the county jail"

He will be out of jail in no-time, and what are chances any employee of bart is going to stop him from entering the turnstiles....In a state that favors criminals over law-abiding citizens, there will be no stopping this guy if he wants to continue his lawlessness.

How will the order to "not ride BART for a while" be enforced?? Answer: It won't be.
