I live and work in Fremont, but I have family and friends who live in Livermore and my chiropractor's office is in Livermore. It can take up to two hours to travel from my job in Fremont to my chiropractor in Livermore on a weekday afternoon after work. This trip should only take approximately 40 minutes. I cannot go to the tri-valley area to visit family or friends, go to Stoneridge Mall or other businesses to shop, go to restaurants, etc.on a weekday afternoon or evening due to the current grid lock on the roadways. Even on the weekends a once leisurely drive along 680 or 84 to the tri-valley area is now almost as congested as it is on week days. I have considered moving to Livermore, but with the continued increase in traffic I would no longer consider doing so. This is a quality of life issue for residents as well as non-residents of the tri-valley and beyond.

If you want to improve “operation and safety on our highways” get 84 widened and build a 580 westbound to 680 southbound flyover built, quit shuffling paperwork and having endless meetings and get it done the price goes up every day, we are already being taxed to death let’s see some results from all that money going into the black hole!!
