Contest opens to name new dog park

Pleasanton will open its second dog park in October, an off-leash, fenced-in park on a two-acre site at the Lagoon Road/Bernal Avenue staging area of the Marilyn Murphy Kane Trail with separate runs and toys for large and small dogs.

How about this for a name? "You now have two offleash doggie parks so don't even THINK of letting your dog off his leash ANYWHERE else".

And calling that dog a "service animal" to bring it where it does not belong should be a felony. People who really do have service animals know that your misbehaving mutt is not one.
