Obama's New Fearless Strategy Against ISIS...

Original post made by Karen, Amador Estates, on Jul 16, 2016

ISIS is now shaking in their boots upon hearing Obama's new strategy to defeat them.

"We're going to win this fight by ... never giving up on DIPLOMACY!" Obama said.

I pray for a Trump/Pence victory to at least give this country one slight ray of optimism to end our national nightmare.

Sam,
The entire world is in chaos and it is because of Obama and his Administration including Hillary. They have supported our enemies and rejected our allies time after time. They are the reason that ISIS has emerged as such a lethal force globally (and not a "JV" team).

Here is a short segment about the above from Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Distinguished Military Chair at the Marine Corps University.

And let's not forget, Clinton was front and center in blowing up all of the Middle East, but let's just go ahead and elect her anyway. /sarc

Hey Sammy, looks like your VP prediction was a little...off? That's all right, you're off about most topics but that shouldn't stop you from continuing your delightful comments.

I know, I know - this whole thing is so serious, and yes, it deserves a very sober evaluation, but I'm sorry - Sam's slogan IS pretty funny, you have to admit.... I'll never vote for Hillary, and of course I'll vote, but this is a tough one. It's like my 18 year old nephew recently said "I couldn't wait to vote, and these are my choices?????"

I used to think that Obama was just inexperienced and incompetent and now I am sure he is trying and succeeding in destroying the fabric of the US pitting us against each other. Hilliary is the same, black vs white, rich vs poor , men vs women etc. and she is a liar and corrupt. If you call her out you hate women or are a racist (see Warren comments). The democratic primary was fixed. Before there was a primary she had a 430 delegate lead.

I will vote for Trump and be proud of it. I think he is bright and wants us to be successful again

Sam,
Trump is not my ideal candidate because he is not a true conservative. However, given that Obama and his Admin (with no help from establishment Republicans like Mitch McConnell, etc.) are driving America toward the cliff at 100mph, and Hillary would simply take the wheel and accelerate us over the cliff at 180 mph, I welcome Trump/Pence turning the steering wheel.

If you do your homework on what's happening to America and the world, you'll learn. It may already be too late for America to recover however. I hope not but it is a tough ship to turn given Obama's path of destruction.

So you're saying that if he were a "true conservative" then Trump would be your ideal candidate? Yeah, I guess the fact that he has the emotional maturity of a spoiled 9-year old, is a mega-narcissist, a bigot, shoots off his mouth all the time without thinking, and doesn't get along with most people is all OK and makes him "the ideal candidate" as long as he is a "true conservative.

I fear if Trump were to get in that a war would be brought to our shores.
As for Obama causing all this, Cheney many years before Bush became President stated if we went into Iraq we would never get out yet he and Bush went in (there were no wmd's) made lots of money for their friends supplying the war effort while over charging for fuel and supplies and destabilized the Middle East. I'll never forget the banner on the carrier with a smiling Bush, "Mission Accomplished". Yes he sure "mission accomplished" a war we are still in and put us in a deep recession (that the Obama administration got us out of) and a so called energy crisis orchestrated by Enron and Bush's buddy Kenny Boy with Bush stating something to the the effect "California got themselves into it let them get themselves out". Mission accomplished!

Yes Obama did cause all of this by his nonexistent leadership. Hilliary in her own book takes credit for the relationship with Russia, Iran deal, Lybia etc. read it yourself. I was shocked. Coming to our shores? Man it's already here and will become a bigger issue much bigger issue Fort Hood, San Bernadino, Fort Drum, Naval Depot in Virginia, Orlando all Muslim in Obama's watch. Very poor leadership. We need a non politician as President.

Pretty good article from the New Republic looking at the state of affairs in the Trump campaign. It paints a picture of amateur-hour bungling over at the Trump campaign. Seriously, if Donald Trump shows such ineptitude and bungling in running an election campaign, why on Earth would anyone think that he's up to the job of running a Presidential administration?:

........
"Ignore the Polls. Trump’s Campaign Is a Hot Mess, and That’s All That Matters."

"Now that the two major parties have their candidates locked down and the conventions are about to start, poll-watching season has begun in earnest. All across America, and indeed the globe, people are starting to draw conclusions from the aggregate polls at Huffington Post and Real Clear Politics. FiveThirtyEight’s Nate Silver, tarnished though his reputation may be after his initial dismissal of Trump’s chances in the GOP primaries, has regained his customary status as a Delphic Oracle of electoral politics."

"Many polls show a tightening race, although some also show Clinton taking a commanding lead in the battleground states. None of this matters. Time spent poring over polls at this point is time wasted. Polls this early are rarely predictive in general elections. They’ll be much more valuable about a week after the Democratic convention, when a much larger chunk of the electorate has heard both sides and is paying attention."

"Instead, focus on a crucial fact: The Trump campaign is in disarray, displaying a chaos rarely seen in national politics (since at least 1972, when George McGovern’s presidential run became a legendary shambles after his running mate dropping out because of reports about his mental history)."

"Consider these facts: Fundraising for both Trump and the RNC is terrible, with the latter reportedly sending out a last-minute plea to billionaire Sheldon Adelson to send them $6 million they need to just host the convention in Cleveland in a few days. The Trump campaign also leaked news that football player Tim Tebow was going to speak at the convention, but had to walk it back when the athlete denied the reports. The lineup for the convention was announced just a few days ago, long after it was promised, and 20 percent of those who will be addressing a national audience are members of the Trump family, including four of his five kids. While the Trumps will be out in full force at the convention, hundreds of Republican legislators are staying away."

"But the best evidence of chaos in the Trump camp is the botched vice presidential announcement, which revealed a level of anarchy rarely seen outside of schoolyards at recess. Trump had been conducting a high-profile search, making Governor Chris Christie, retired Lt. General Mike Flynn, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and Governor Mike Pence perform before him like contestants at a beauty pageant. Trump’s manager and some members of the Trump family reportedly were leaning toward Pence, but Trump felt an emotional affinity for Christie and an intellectual respect for Gingrich."

"A press conference announcing the selection was announced for Friday at 11 a.m. By all indications, Trump was going to choose Pence."

"Then Trump got cold feet. Late on Thursday, he told Fox News, “I haven’t made a final, final decision.” He was reportedly angry that Pence’s staff had been leaking that the Indiana governor was the pick. Trump hadn’t definitively told Christie or Gingrich they were rejected. Apparently saying “you’re fired” comes easier to Trump on a reality show than in real life."

"When news of the terrorist attack in Nice broke, Trump used it as an excuse to buy more time. He announced that the press conference was cancelled. According to campaign chairman Paul Manafort, this cancellation was because Trump “emotionally reacted” to the Nice attack. This allowed Gingrich and Flynn, in a last-minute bid, to go on Fox and fulminate against terrorism. Gingrich promised to “test” all Muslims for their beliefs and deport anyone who adheres to Sharia law, and Flynn started raving about how the long-dead Ayatollah Khomeini should apologize for the attack."

"Finally, trying to regain mastery of a narrative spinning out of control, Trump tweeted this morning that he was going with Pence after all, with a news conference to follow on Saturday. The whole sorry spectacle shows that Trump’s campaign is riven by internal rivalries and that the cronies he’s surrounded himself with (and put on his vice-presidential shortlist) are ranting fools."

"The state of the polls really don’t matter compared to the four-lane pile-up that is the Trump campaign. With his organization in such a mess, Trump has little chance of convincing those who aren’t already on board to support him. Indeed, he’s likely to lose voters over time. And he certainly won’t be able to field an effective get-out-the-vote push in competitive swing states. The chaos of the Trump campaign is the biggest story of the election, and the key indicator of where the race is headed."

Sammy,

If you go back through history and read you can see very similar Views between the current day democrats and the nazi's of the 1930's. You seem like a kid and probably didn't learn about it in school but the Nazi's pitted one group against another, used the media to convey their message, preached genecide (abortion) to rally the troops, disarmed the citizens, and then took control. Sounds exactly like the Democratic Party of today. Remember I have voted democratic many many times and am discussed by what I see if them today.

Pete,
I am glad you've come to that conclusion about the Democrat Party. I submit to you that this disgusting party has not changed much over the years, however. It has been much harder for them to hide their intentions, given the proliferation of alternative media and the internet. And then there are candidates like Bernie Sanders who self-identifies as a Socialist. (At least he has been honest while Obama and Hillary are still in the closet regarding their Socialist/Marxist ideals).

I know I am preaching to the choir now, however I would encourage you and many others to see Dinesh D'Souza's movie "Hillary's America" which exposes the real history of Democrat Party which has not been taught in public schools or the media.

@Karen : "Pete, I am glad you've come to that conclusion about the Democrat Party."

Yes, Pete says that he voted for Carter back in '77 and that he also voted for Obama, but yet he only finally realizes now (at the ripe age of +55) that Democrats are like Nazis because they "preached genecide [sic] (abortion)" and "disarmed the citizens" (i.e., support gun control). It takes a very slow learner indeed to continue voting for Democratic candidates up to at least an age in the late 40's before suddenly realizing that Democrats tend to be pro-choice and support gun control, doesn't it?

Haven't seen the Dinesh D'Souza movie attacking Hillary Clinton that you mentioned. How is he doing? I read that he had some legal problems.:

"In January 2014, D'Souza was indicted on charges of making illegal political contributions to a 2012 United States Senate campaign, a felony under U.S. law.[9][10] On May 20, 2014, D'Souza pleaded guilty in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to a charge of using "straw donors" to make illegal political campaign donations. On September 23, D'Souza was sentenced to eight months in a halfway house near his home in San Diego, five years probation, and a $30,000 fine.[11][12]

@Karen :"You are right. In the movie, Dinesh D'Souza is very open about his experience being sent to jail for a political contribution to a college friend."

No, he was NOT open about the experience. He continued to refuse to accept responsibility for his crime. In the trailer, you presented he said "it all began when the Obama administration tried to shut me up". Does that sound like someone who took responsibility for making $10,000 illegal campaign contributions through two "straw donors"? It doesn't to me. Apparently, his judge also noted D'Souza's inability to take responsibility for his actions (see below). Thank you for once again illustrating the double-standard that you and so many other conservatives display regarding criminal actions depending on the political stripes of the criminal.

Finally, D'Souza's attempt to try to smear the modern Democratic Party with the actions of racist southern Democrats in the Civil War era is all a bit silly. Yes, I think most of us know enough about the history of the US that we don't need a lecture by D'Souza. The present day Democratic Party is no more the party of the Civil War era southern Democrats than the present day Trump-dominated Republican Party is the party of Lincoln.

.........
"Judge Berman also made explicit reference in his sentencing remarks to claims of persecution that D'Souza made publicly outside of court proceedings. The New York Times reported that "While the judge said that Mr. D’Souza had an “absolute right” to express his opinions, he described his claims of political persecution as “nonsense,” and scolded the defendant, saying that he continued to “deflect and minimize” the seriousness of his crime".[12][112][113]"

@DKHSK :"Sam, For your edification, Trump did not know of his ex-butlers views until AFTER he retired from his employ, then promptly denounced them upon getting the news."

A man that Trump personally hired and associated with daily at his Florida mansion and probably engaged in small-talk all the time for over 17 years and Trump had no idea about his butler's virulent racism? Doesn't say much for Donald Trump's ability to judge character but... uhhhhh.... OK.

As for denouncing the butler's views, Donald Trump's campaign of course put out the expected boiler-plate disavowal of the butler, but I haven't seen any personal disavowal by Donald Trump himself. In fact, you're wrong about the butler completely retiring from Trump's employment. It's true that this person (Anthony Senecal) retired from his job as butler back in 2009, but then Trump convicted him to stay on as his Florida mansion "historian". As you can see from the clip of the CNN story below, as of May 12, 2016 this former butler - and virulent racist - is STILL giving tours of Trump's Florida estate even after the international news about his ugly racism appeared! Trump did NOT sever his ties with him despite any hollow disavowal statements from his campaign.

Come on, Dan: Let's see you hop and dance some more. Love your double-standards. Love your hypocrisy.

...........
"(CNN)Donald Trump's campaign is disavowing the real estate mogul's former butler, after he posted to Facebook Thursday that he wants President Barack Obama to be killed."

"Anthony Senecal, who served as Trump's butler for 17 years and now takes groups on tours of the presumptive Republican nominee's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday that Obama "should have been taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term," according to Mother Jones, which first reported on Senecal's post."

"Reached for comment by CNN on Thursday, Senecal, 84, confirmed he wrote the post, but disputed one point, "I think I said hung.""

"Either way, I don't care. Hanging, shooting -- I'd prefer he'd be hung from the portico of the White House, or as I call it, the white mosque," Senecal said in a phone interview Thursday."

Why Sam you are a little Nazi and continue to call people names and try the fascist tactic of label and dismiss. Try to act like a big boy and express YOUR values and thoughts not cutting and pasting. Do not defend by attacking others but rather by stating your opinions clearly.

@Karen :"BTW: Have you taken a summer vacation yet? I hear that the Democrat utopian country of Venezuela is quite nice."

Karen, thanks for the recommendation but actually I already have plans to visit the Democrat utopian country of Canada this summer.
