Special Olympics Track Meet needs Volunteers

Original post made by Ken mano, Willow West, on Apr 9, 2016

Signups are now in progress for Volunteers for the Annual Special Olympics Pleasanton Games for Track and Volleyball, hosted by the Amador Valley Athletic Boosters for the 13th consecutive year.

The event will be Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at Amador Valley High School.
Opening Ceremonies will be at 8:30am, the event is open to the public and admission is free.

This is a great opportunity to "GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY".

Volunteers can do a full day or half day, for either Track or Volleyball.
To see details and register to volunteer, go to: www.AV-SpecialOlympics.org and choose the position you'd like.
A good position for families and groups of 2-5 is Team Escort, you get to know the athletes the best and assist the coaches, cheer and encourage the athletes.
